Katie,

Right now my garage and attic probably resemble your warehouse at Greenbrier more than I care to admit.

I will likely keep buying cymbals one and two at a time for now, we'll see.

I'm not sure about that but I thought you were an authorized Sabian dealer.

You can call or write Sabian and get a custom cymbal made to your specs.

Mike try calling Sabian and see what they say, they're all very nice up people up there.

Our store is actually clean for once. I made the guys get out of my way so I could organize it.

I can now actually get to my computer without having to climb over the vistalites. ~_~

I should take some pictures of what our crazy piles of stuff here in the store look like and post em.

Yeah Phil, we're an authorized Sabian dealer. But we go through KMC (Kaman Music), which gets us our Sabian, Gretsch, Stagg, and a whole bunch of other brands.

I'm sure we could contact Sabian to do the cymbal matching, but it would probably cost us more than our KMC prices since it would be a sort of special order, and then we wouldn't be able to offer our usual prices on it.

Boss man just headed out for the day, but I could always email our Sabian rep and see what he says. Who knows, maybe we can and we've just never had anyone ask for it before. ^_^

Your warehouse is probably neater than my garage right now.

I was talker about volume of stuff, and I was (slightly) exagerating.

Right now I have...

-Seven full drumsets, acouple of which are large kits

-Thirty four snare drums

-Sixty two cymbals

And tons of hardware...

It's getting a little silly now.

And although I'm sure that you folks stock a lot more, I do have more inventory than a lot of smaller shops I've been in.

Haha, actually, you're pretty close to some of our numbers. You're only a handful of kits off of what we have in stock, although ours are all in boxes since we don't have any out for display right now.

We've got you in the cymbal department, but thats because we have the awesome wall o' box sets. I feel like a kid trying to find something in the card catalog every time I have to go there and look up a box by sku.

I think you actually have more snares than we do. ^_^ Which is just awesome.

Oh and Katie your online store Greenbrier Percussion says your all out of sabian cymbals any AAX or HHX I click on say they are currently unavailable Upset

Anyway Mike, What are you most proud of 7 kits 34 snares or 62 cymbals?

Yup Matt, we're in Fredericksburg VA. Right about half way between D.C. and Richmond on I-95. The actual store is located on rte. 1 though, so its easy enough to get to from any direction, since its on a main highway.

Yeah...we're having some MAJOR issues with the website right now. I'd recommend just using our ebay to see what we have available. Sorry, I hope we're able to fix the problems with that stupid site eventually. ~_~

If you plan on swinging by we're open 11:00am-7:00pm, but we're sometimes gone for about 30 minutest at some point in the day for lunch, so you can always call to be sure we'll be in.

But yeah, we always welcome walk ins. ^_^ Anything in the store we sell doesn't have the added mark up that we have to put on our ebay listings to cover the ebay fees we have to pay them. And no shipping costs, which we also factor into the ebay prices. So yeah, good deals if you see anything you like. ^_~

Were you just planning on swinging by to browse, or is there anything in particular you're looking for? I wouldn't want you making the trip down for something specific and us not having it for you.

I'm still going to drop in on one of my drives back and forth.

We've taken the scenic route through the mountains of West Virginia the past couple of times. We will switch back to driving I-95 when the weather turns again.

I have more snare than a drum shop?

Don't tell Jackie!

lol.

Haha! No worries, your secrets safe with us. ^_^

Yeah, nearing that 100 mark...it came up fast!

You should definitely swing by sometime before next March, otherwise I won't be able to say hi since I'll have moved down to Orlando by then.

The mountains are really nice. Have you ever been out to Graves Mountain for the Apple Festival in the fall? Its really quaint and fun...and great if you like apples...and applesauce...and apple cider...and, well, you get the idea!

Oh no!

We'll loose our Greenbrier connection!

(Just kidding...)

I haven't made it to that festival yet, but it sounds pretty cool.

I think we've officialy hi-jacked Phil's thread.
