Well, I know that anyone who wants a set of Sabian just has to tell me which cymbals they want, we'll get them all together from the store and the warehouse, pack them up as a set, and ship them out.
The sonically matched sets of cymbals though are only the sets that Sabian makes for us. They only come in certain cymbal combinations though, so unless you wanted that particular set of cymbals, we couldn't get you sonically matched ones.
Just wanted to clear that up, didn't want anyone getting confused, like me. ^_~
But yeah, if you want the most random set of cymbals, all from different series at the weirdest sizes, we can order them and make that set for you. And trust me, we have! Heh. | | Message posted 574 days ago | IP Logged |

I've got to figure out what I want to and put some money aside so I can get what I really.
As goofy as I get with drums and cymbals, I do it all cash. There is nothing I want enough to get bad enough to get in debt over. That little rule keeps me in check to some extent. (Imagine if I had no rules...)

| | That's too bad Katie because Sabian will match any kind of set. Your boss may just want to sell what he has in stock first. Mike you can call or write to Sabian and ask for a cymbal that you want and have it sent to the shop of your choice. You can call and say "I want this kind of crash and make it on the thin side please and they will send it, same goes for sets of cymbals, like a set of crashes. Say you want and AAX Studio Crash and a AAX Dark Crash, you can have them matched and sent to you but only though a Sabian dealer. | | Message posted 574 days ago | IP Logged |

| Nah, its not that he wants us to sell our stock first. I think its because we order Sabian from a big distributing company, along with lots of other brands that they carry for us. So we only get those pre-made sonically matched sets.
I think if we were to call up Sabian and do that we wouldn't get the same discount we get through our other company, which is probably why we don't do it.
Hey Mike, sounds like a good plan to me! I'm the same way, I don't like to buy things without the money to back it up. Although for me thats usually plane tickets to and from Disney, so its a little different than getting some drums or cymbals out of the deal. ^_~ | | Message posted 574 days ago | IP Logged |
