Maybe not but getting rid on the crack will bring back the sustain. Just cut a groove so the crack has some space. If you can't cut it just use a drill and take it all out. By brazing you could change the temper and it may fuck the cymbal more so.

The cymbal is already screwed lol. It's done being used for gigs and I'm not too concerned with the sound of practice cymbals. I figure I can experiment on it with a couple different things, maybe I'll make a breakthrough. I think if I can get the heat just right it may be able to close the crack without compromising the surrounding bronze too much
