i crack all of them, but only after a while... i just cracked my 6" splash that i've had for 12 years... its been a good run I had a aa medium ride that was my first ride cymbal. It lasted a good 8 years before it got a shoulder crack... -~=Joey=~- Aclarion! has no website...lame! www.myspace.com/livingston search me on facebook!

two 17in crashes both of them are Zildjian. I'm actually going a bit...experimental on the one. I'm going to try brazing it with silver solder. A friend of mine tried it on an old cymbal he had with a crack and it worked pretty well. I figure the sustain is already shot to hell it can't make it worse
