That would be cool. I have three nephews who have played on and off.

One is fairly serious about it. (He has a set of old Slingerlands.)

The best part is that he picked them out on his own.

(Of course he did learn to play on my old blakrome kit.)

Today is the 80th day without a kitchen.


The tile will be delivered tomorrow. Our contactor is in Aruba. I get to help unload the truck.

Every year he and his wife spend two weeks in Aruba to celebrate their anniversary. Of course, the work was going to be done by the end of summer so leaving now wasn't going to be a problem.

How much longer do you expect to be kitchenless?

I just finished installing cabinet doors and a new countertop in my mom's kitchen. I did the pipes for the sink in the island and the electrical for the new hanging microwave at the end of August.

She was without a kitchen since January.

The first thing she wanted to do when I hooked up the water was wash dishes! She did it for about an hour!

We have new dishes and flatware still in the boxes. Running all of that through the dishwasher that so that we can put them in the cabinets will be job one.

Then we will cook a real meal.
