Or at least it will make you roll your eyes.

We took Bridget our 11 year old wheaten to the vet two weeks ago and the veterinarian wrote a prescription for her. Then she suggested that we have it filled at a local pharmacy.

We went to our local pharmacy to fill the prescription and the person behind the counter asked if she was a member of the prescription savings club. (No, I'm not kidding.) We answered "no, she's a dog". Apparently that doesn't matter. We signed her up and yesterday her new card came in the mail.

It actually gets even better...

Bridget needs some antibiotics and the vet suggested that we get them from a local grocery store chain.

It seems that you can get generic antibiotics free. Yes, even if you are a dog.

I love this country.
