I am a lucky member of an elite brotherhood of people who worked and or played at from the infamous Cellar Club in Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston and San Antonio. When we were young and unknown and the people who hung out there was Bugs Henderson, Linda Warring, Mickey Raphael, Billy Gibbons, Dusty Hill, Frank Beard, Johnny Nitzinger, ArvEL, Johnny Carol, Jimmy Vaughn and his little brother Stevie Ray. A couple weeks ago we had a Cellar Reunion. Bugs Henderson and Stevie are now legends, (Bugs a living one and Stevie Ray sadly is not) Billy, Dusty, and Frank became ZZ Top, and most of you know where the rest are. The reunion was an open jam. Bugs, Linda Warring and Johnny Nitzinger blew us away. Anyone close to Texas contact me, were having the big Trinity Park Reunion and concert in October!

Awesome lineup! Texas has been legendary for the blues and rock musicians it has been home to.

Besides Top, the first Texan I became familiar with was Johhny Winter.
