Tomorrow evening Bob and I are doing a couple of our acoustic sets at an Art Gallery.

It should be interesting. We are booked at three different places next month. I think we actually are doing okay with this.

My thoughts are that times are tough, it's cheaper to book an acoustic duo than a full band. (And I'm really enjoying it despite the fact that it's pretty simple stuff.)

We play as a 3 piece..(Guitar, keys, drums) and are getting many more gigs than my buddies playin in a 4 piece band doiing similar material. I think it is just the price difference... well and that we have a better drummer :)

I agree. I notice small bands getting booked a lot more often these days as well.

Though the market for Christmas party bands, etc., has improved DRASTICALLY over last year during the crash.

It was a good gig. My knee is swollen and carrying gear was a bitch.
