I played "The Downfall of Paris" as one of my 4 pieces for my Higher School Certificate ( 13 years ago) which is a marching piece.
I received great marks due to the variety - I also played a death metal song on a double bass kitDevilish

Not doing any right now, but in the fall I'll be playing with the University of Western Ontario Marching Band! Number two in all of Canada! Oh man that really makes me remember how much I wanted to go to McGill (they're number one...)Upset

Yeah I march, all 3 years in HS, next year is my last, and I plan to be captain, thats why all my friends started calling me El Capitan Shinanigans, it kinda got on my nerves. anywho our line is pretty much one of the cool features of our school, when we have a pep assembly people go fruitin' nuts. not to mention all the cool cadences we play (I wrote 2 of them). It's fun but i'll be sad when its over. Last year our show was "Force: The music of Holsinger", this year we did "I Spy" which was a mix between james bond and austin powers. I have absolutly no idea what we are doing next year, but people think were are gonna have a "King Kong" type show.

thats all
