Actually I quite like the looks of that kit!

The cymbals actually hung over the toms, but were only about 8 inches over them, so about half the tom face was hard to hit. I spun a couple of sticks through the air by hitting the tom and bringing the stick up to quick and catching it on the underside of a cymbal! LOL....Also the farthest cymbal to my right was a large china, and that is where my ride usually is, so you can guess that problem. Pleased

His kit, so as long as he likes it I guess, but I found it a very odd setup, almost impossible to use the 2 lower toms.

Played the beach festival thing last night. Played some songs (they loved us... they were shouting for us to play again when the other bands were being introduced), drank some beverages, met some girls. One of the aforementioned girls ended up being a performer that was on later in the show. She lives near where I go to school. I'm glad we decided to play it! Pleased
