hey everyone,

My name is Ashley and I play the medium size bass drum.. I play for a small little band called Fort Campbell marching band. yeah military base schools gotta love em. Anyways I was basically wondering if anyone knew of a place I could find really simple and easy cadences for basses... The snare drummer and quad players can play anything.. But the two other bass drummers have problems understanding and they just aren't dedicated enough, but they're all we have.. So we need something simple and easy. So if anyone knows of anything please..
E-mail if you can at theshinythings@yahoo.com Thank you all for your time.

It's overdone and I hate how many people play it, but I'd stay do the cadence from the movie drumline.... the bass part is simple and isn't split..... I can't believe I actually reccomended something like that, but you wanted something simple.... if anything else, you can do like we did and just WRITE cadences.... it's a long process, but you can write anything to suit your strengths and weaknesses....... You mean Fort Campbell Kentucky? If so, I don't go to school very far away from you (Kenwood).

You can try MarchingPercussion.com. Go to the free music section, they have a bass drum cadense called "Axeman" Its pretty cool and its not too advanced, could just be the thing you need. Oh, and for god's sake, DO NOT listen to the guy who told you to play that DRUMLINE cadence, that movie is just rediculous
