| I've been playing seriously for 10 years on a Premier XPK, which I mic up. My guitarist was pushing me to trigger, but as a conscientious tuner, I disagreed. A drummer with trigger knowledge said that the ghost notes of shuffles don't come through a trigger very well. So, I need to know again, why triggers, and what are their limitations? Does a well-tuned drum benefit from a trigger?
