We have a few new faces, so I thought I'd post this.

My name is Mike and I'm one of the regulars on this forum.

I sometimes see new people register as members, yet never post. While this is certainly okay, we love to hear from new members and get to know you.

A little about us. There are a large number of us who pop in every day to see what's going on. The group consists of members from mid-teens to sixties. Experience levels are wide ranging and we hail from all over the globe.

Although I'm admitedly a little biased, I really do feel that this is the friendliest drum forum on the web.

Start a new thread and tell us about yourself.

(What part of the world you are from, your experience level, what kind of gear you use, what kind of music you are into and a first name would be great. We like to use first names here, it's part of that being friendly thing I was talking about.)

Bumpity bump!

I'm Matt 16 and live in the suburbs of Philadelphia.

I've been playing drums for about 3 yrs now I guess, and play on a ddrum dominion 5 piece maple natural kit.
I play everything from metal, and emo music to soft rock like Augustana and stuff like that. Acoustic guitar songs with a chill drumline in the background.

Matt the happy cow.

If this band was a person, it would be president. If this band was visual art, it would be the main attraction at Louvre. If this band was a book, it would be holier than the bible.

I threw the bump out there because we had two guests on the site and I thought it might "prod" them into posting.

In any case, like you Matt Matt my bio is a little out of date.

So...

I'm Mike. I've been a regular on this site for almost 4 years. I'm 51 years old and have been playing since I was ten.

I am retired and am now back living in Pittsburgh. I play and collect drums. As of this wring I own 8 kits, 34 snares, 70-some cymbals and a pretty cool hand percussion setup.

I've traveled and met many of the regulars on this forum in person and consider everyone on here a good friend.
