| Pat - I'm hoping!!!
Although I should point out the kit is a working kit and still earns it's living!!!
Updated on 9/2/2007 4:16:05 PM OK, here's another.
I recorded this with a bunch of (much) younger guys who were very 'green'. I was hired to be the drummist for their recording session and ended up in the producer's chair. I think they had a lot going, but the two guitarists 'fell out', one got married (ergo: vanished) and the 'pretty' girl bait bass player was forbidden from taking part in any more live gigs when his g/f witnessed the moist inducing effect he had on the female members of the audience.
I was hoping for some firm fleshed tail in my later years.... ho-hum.....

PS: [ego] This track was reviewed by FHM and got a unanimous 'thumbs up', however, a remix 'artiste' complained that I waivered by up to 3bpm during the song. I played without a 'click'. [/ego] | | Message posted 1620 days ago | IP Logged |

| I earn a proportion of my living from sessions, sadly there's not enough for me to live off it solely, I also make drums, sell them, deal in vintage and new gear, I've tech'd on and off - last year I had the honour of teching for Thomas Lang on his UK tour (I really earned my money, you seen his Sonor kit?!!)

Plenty of funny stories, the most memorable was on a tour of Turkey when the (small) bus we were in hit a hole in the road akin the a mini Grand Canyon at 70mph and the side door fell off..... the keyboard player was asleep against it and he fell out after it.
The sight of him 'surfing' on all fours on top of the door into oncoming trucks etc will stay with me forever!!! He didn't see the funny side of it. | | Message posted 1619 days ago | IP Logged |
