I've mentioned in the past that if I stumble upon a guitar to learn basics on, I might pick one up.

I'm going to pick this up tomorrow for $100.

It's an Epiphone single cutaway acoustic/electric with a hard case.

That's a good buy. String it with light phospher bronze to start,it will be easier on your fingers till You build up some calluses.

Thanks Billy, I'll take that advice. The same model sells new at guitar center for $299 without the case. The guy said that it is a about a year old.

I asked him where he wanted to meet. He sugested that we meet on a street corner near a guitar store. He is going to use the money to buy parts for another guitar.

He said that he'll busk on the corner with it until I get there. No, I'm not kidding.
