Ive always been fascinated by war, but bored by endless Vietnam films, so I was a little sceptical when buying the book "The Cage"

However this book was amazing, I read it in 2 days flat, it was hard to put down.  Its about an Englishman emigrating to the US and being conscripted to Nam.

Its not particualy poeticaly written, its factual straight book.  The horrors he describes brings chills down my back (I never thought id say that), and bring me a step closer to understanding what its like, and helped reinforce my anti war views in the world.
