| Ok - Who of you know who Prairie Prince is? It is a name from the past who a few of you may know (the older you are the better chance you have of knowing the name). make your guesses and no fair looking the name up on the net before you answer.
I will add comments after we have a few guesses.

| Yes I will agree. What prompted this question... Prairie Prince is playing with Jefferson Starship here in Minneapolis this weekend at a free festival. I have always enjoyed his drumming and view him as one of the finest drummers playing that style of rock. I had the opportunity to meet him about 10 years ago after a Starship gig. After he left I went on stage and much to my surprise there ws a metronome sitting on the floor behind his kit. He said he used it to make sure he was setting the proper tempo to start each tune, as he just started playing the Starship gig a week earlier. I certainly could not tell that he had just started the gig.
He is a solid player that uses enough but not too much flash. Anyone who has not heard his work sould check his playing out.
