Jackie and I are making a run up to Chicago tomorrow and we are going to stay overnight in Lexington.

We're going to take advantage of the chance to meet Lee!

Hey get up to Minnesota this weekend and I am playing both nights.....you can sit in with the Authorities....heck you culd even play all night ....(as long as I still get paid :)) I am a Weekend Warrior www.theauthorities.net \m/ -_- \m/

I had a GREAT time with Mike and Jackie - two of the kindest people i have ever met Cool Dude

.

Mike has an amazing passion for drumming! He inspires me to be like that.

Mike and Jackie met me at the store where I work, and where the big band i'm in rehearses. They endured two hours watching me rehearse with the band Raspery

, then we went to Applebee's to have a beer Pleased

. We had a great conversation about drums, drumming, travels, drumming, family, drums, drumming, dogs, and drums Devilish

. Jackie (bless her heart) hung right in there with us as long as she could, lol. They were both tired after the long drive from Richmond, VA.

It was an absolute pleasure spending time with you, Mike and Jackie, and I hope to do it again! Thanks for a great evening!

I haven't had internet access, so I'm slow responding.

We had a great time in Lexington. Lee has helped to confirm my opinion that drummers are really nice people. We got to briefly meet his wife and children, which was also very cool.

The big band kicks ass! Lee drove the band expertly, Jackie and I were both impressed.

And yes, we might have might have mentioned drums two or three (hundred) times during our conversation. I think (hope) Jackie is immune by now.

We're looking forward to meeting more Drum-Worlders soon.

Pics! (finally got my wife's camera long enough to get the pics off of it ) That was a great night! It would be awesome to get a whole bunch of the drum-worlders together. I know we've talked about it before, but it's easier said than done, i guess. Maybe when Mike and Jackie get settled in Pittsburgh, we can plan a D-W conference there . Lee
