Flat tops are beautiful for acoustic jazz (IMHO). Roy Haynes uses them very often if not always. If you like his cymbal sound you like flat tops (and frankly I can't imagine someone not liking his cymbal sound).

The new one is the K Constantinople version, very expensive. The one on ebay looks like an A version. Much less expensive, but still a good buy. Gene
