That's true, but you may have bucked the trend, since the Pirates are having their best season in those 20 years right now.

Showalter seems to revive every organization he's with. Looks like Baltimore is another. If history is an indicator, they'll win it all in about 2 years, in the first season where a new manager can get credit for his work.

We went to see the Pirates win against the Giants today.

Then they had a free Daughtry concert after the game. We had a blast.

The Pirates are in first place and looking good.

And the Jays are in last place after looking 60% of their starting rotation, and their closer.

It's also nuts that we're .500 and in last place.
