The kit is worth $7500 US max.If it was indeed Bohnams personal kit then it might be worthy of a lofty price.

It's only worth that because of the cymbals and hardware.

What do you guys think my old K Zildjian hi hats would be worth? I got them new in 1974, they have an A stamp not the K because the bottom cymbal had cracks near the edge and there was an arguement at Zildjian about if they should sell "seconds" or not. These hats sound great and the cracks have not grown at all in the almost 40 years I've played them. They came in this bag,

Here's the stamp,

and I played them in this video, they record very well,

They would be worth at least 50% of current retail, probably more.

I thought more, being almost 40 years old. Here in Russia drums and cymbals lose only 20% and in fact when I sold my set I got $1500 minus the snare. That's what I paid for it with the snare. It was in such nice condition the guy didn't even think about it, he just took it.

They are a little odd with the A stamp and not the K.

In Russia they are probably worth a lot due to the rarity.

This is nice piece if it is real. I've never heard of any unbadged Slingerlands.

Nice Snare but I don't think it's that old. Corder owned the Fibes molds until they were sold and the new Fibes company was started in Texas. Decent price anyway.

Why are they always blue ?Argh!

Here is a pretty little red Slingerland kit on my local craigslist.

If I were in "buying mode" I'd scoop this up.
