There's a drummer in town (a good player) that's got a custom drum made out of a solid, hollowed out piece of wood. Member since at least October 2005!

I really want this snare drum. I ended up pricing one out at the shop I work in and it would be around $750 (ballpark figures of course). Worth every penny though? You bet!

I wonder if the DW processed woods are more dense than any naturally dense wood. Al in Illinois - Member since February 4, 2007. I just love to beat on stuff with sticks!
